Join us next Thursday, October 25th at 7pm, for a special preview of Radiance in the Arthur Seelen Theatre, downstairs at the Drama Book Shop!

Director Suzanne Agins will lead a conversation with Company Member playwright Cusi Cram about her process of researching and dramatizing this untold true American story of war and peace, fame and infamy.   Cast Members Ana Reeder and Kohl Sudduth will perform an excerpt and offer their perspectives on what it’s like to enter into the footnotes of history and explore the emotional fallout of a man, and of a society, that changed the course of human civilization in a single, violent act.

It’s no understatement that the drama unfolding over the course of Radiance‘s hundred-or-so minutes is rooted in some of the most controversial and morally complicated moments of our country’s militaristic past, so we thought it would be a good idea to facilitate an in-depth discussion between our artists and our audience about the profound thematic threads woven throughout the show.  Lucky for us, our good friends at the venerable Drama Book Shop have agreed to help us make that happen.

We hope you’ll join us.  There will be exciting Labyrinth and Radiance-themed giveaways for all in attendance, including tickets to the show, Labpasses to our 2012/13 Season, and more!  The event will run approximately one hour.  Admission is free, and no reservations are needed.

The Drama Book Shop is located at 250 West 40th Street, between 7th and 8th avenues.
