Labyrinth Theater Company Ticketing Policies for Accessible Seating Locations
As part of Labyrinth’s commitment to providing all of its patrons, including those with disabilities, with an enjoyable theater-going experience, Labyrinth provides for Accessible Seating Locations (“ASL”) at the Bank Street Theater.
Methods of Purchasing Tickets in Accessible Seating Locations
Tickets for ASL are available for purchase during the same hours and via the same methods as tickets for general seating areas, including by:
- Visiting us online at http://labtheater.org/;
- Calling us at (212) 513-1080; and
- Visiting the Bank Street Theater box office.
Terms and Conditions for Accessible Seating Location Ticket Purchases
Tickets in ASL are available for purchase pursuant to the same terms/conditions as tickets for general seating areas. Subject to availability, tickets in ASL are available during all stages where tickets for general seating areas are available to the general public (pre-sales, lotteries, wait lists, season passes, etc.).
Number of Tickets in Accessible Seating Locations
Subject to availability, tickets for ASL may be purchased in no fewer than the same numbers that general seating area tickets are made available for sale to the general public. Attendees requiring ASL may purchase up to three (3) additional seats in the same row as the wheelchair location, provided that such seats are available at the time of purchase and tickets for general seating areas are made available at comparable quantities. Where additional seats in the same row are not available but other tickets in ASL remain, Labyrinth shall make available ASL tickets as close to the primary ASL as possible.
For purchases of tickets for single events, Labyrinth reserves the right to inquire if the purchaser has, or is purchasing tickets for someone with, a mobility disability or a disability that requires the use of an ASL. For purchases of tickets to a series of events (e.g., a season pass), Labyrinth reserves the right to require the purchaser to attest in writing that the tickets are for an individual with a mobility disability or a disability that requires the use of an ASL.
Labyrinth maintains the right to take any reasonable steps necessary to investigate and combat the fraudulent purchase of tickets, including those in ASL.
Complaints of Discrimination/Harassment on the Basis of Disability
Any complaints of discrimination or harassment on the basis of disability (including lack of accessibility) shall be investigated and, if necessary, appropriate action shall be taken to promptly resolve such complaints. Complaints may be directed to Robert Sherrill, Labyrinth’s General Manager and Accessibility Coordinator (Robert@labtheater.org or 212.513.1052) or any member of the Labyrinth staff.
