This week-long acting intensive combines scene study, acting exercises, guest lectures and performance opportunities to help actors develop their skills.

Created by Labyrinth Company Member and acting teacher Scott Hudson, the five-day course aims to instill a basic knowledge of the fundamentals of acting as well as a clear sense of artistic direction and purpose. With an emphasis on the importance of understanding a text (whether it be a monolog, a scene or a full play) this program aims to translate that understanding into an authentic and truthful performance. The program culminates in an acting showcase at the Bank Street Theater where students will have the opportunity to perform scenes before an invited audience. Guest artists for the program include Company Members Chris Chalk and Yul Vázquez.

The Acting Intensive will take place at the Bank Street Theater.
