LAByrinth Theater Company continues its 25th Anniversary Season celebration with the 2018 Barn Series, a new play reading festival featuring 13 new plays written by LAByrinth company members.

Monday, January 22 at 7pm   |  The Seven Sisters of Socorro Sanchez by Luna Lauren Velez and Joan by Stephen Belber

In The Seven Sisters a family of woman comes to terms with the truth about the legacy of their father’s past mistakes.

A play about the entire life of a woman named Joan.

Tuesday, January 23 at 7pm | The Corridor by Brett C. Leonard

Denizens of a musical landscape struggle with addiction, love and survival of daily life. 

Wednesday, January 24 7pm | The Last 24 by Felix Solis and Frederick Douglass and the Fallen Angels  by Mel Nieves

“Strange things happen come four o’clock  in the morning…” – The Last 24 tells the story of an all night diner in NYC, the people who run it and those who come through it. 

For a group of working class families and desperate dreamers in the Frederick Douglass Housing projects, the struggle to hold on till morning is a way of life.

Frankie and a nice guy named John, hook up for the first time with dangerous desires in conflict, while the rest of the state of Florida flees in a northbound exodus.

When the cunningly attractive Faust scholar Salvatore persuades his colleague Delia to befriend his lonely wife Pepper, he puts in motion seductive web that forces each to choose who, in the end, they will be faithful to.
